Niánn Emerson Chase

Niánn Emerson Chase is a published author, educator, and activist for applying spiritual principles in every area of life. Her spirit-centered philosophies and peace-motivated efforts have positively impacted individuals worldwide, enriching their own personal growth, while fostering life-giving policies applicable to all aspects of a society. Niánn's principles of spiritual unity without uniformity and compassionate, nonviolent activism have led her into a life of service for the common good of all on our planet. Her practices in comprehensive sustainability and teachings about whole, balanced living create a renewed hope for Mother Earth and its inhabitants.

Niánn grew up on four different Native American reservations in the southwestern United States, within a home life based on Christian principles, where she additionally incorporated Native American spirituality in her youth experiences. While attending Arizona State University, she broadened her horizons and studied other world religions and philosophies. After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English and a minor in psychology, she returned home to the San Carlos Apache Reservation in Arizona where she lived and taught for fifteen years. She did her post-graduate work towards a Masters degree in elementary, secondary, and adult education.

Niánn has co-authored with Gabriel of Urantia the books Teachings on Healing From a Spiritual Perspective and the series of Global Change Teachings for a New Millennium. She has been published in various periodicals including: New Thought Journal, Connecting Link, Communities, Quantum Thoughts, Inner Word, and the Alternative Voice, of which she is the Co-Executive Director. A life-long educator, her personal ideals and pursuits are to bring the teachings of both the Fifth Epochal Revelation (The URANTIA Book) and Continuing Fifth Epochal Revelation (The Cosmic Family volumes) into the classroom and into mainstream consciousness.

Niánn has devoted everything in this lifetime to following God's call and, in so doing, has discovered peace and contentment in compassionate service to her fellows. Her spiritual based philosophies and peace-motivated efforts have positively impacted countless individuals worldwide, enriching their own personal growth, while fostering life-giving city, state, and national policies.
