In Washington DC we met Malik Rashaan, founder of Occupy the Hood. Malik talked about Occupy the Hood being in 21 cities, helping to give the people of the low-income neighborhoods hood more of a voice and encouraging work within the community.

Occupy Congress: Police Captain Ray Lewis
On January 17, 2012 we joined the 99% at the Capital Building in Washington to Occupy Congress. While we were there we talked to retired Philadelphia police captain and activist Ray Lewis and asked him about the occupy movement. Capt. Lewis is an avid supporter and hopes he can make a difference by his presence at the demonstrations. He finds it sad that other police officers aren't participating since they are part of the 99%.
